Naitera is a registered Community Based Organization in Kiambu county. Naitera aims to promote the well being of the community promoting academic excellence and value of education, promoting women’s economic empowerment, Mobilizing support for the Elderly and Enviromental conservation. Naitera seeks to recruit civic educators to provide support in our project in partnership with URAIA Trust which aims to enhance citizen’s engagement in understanding the
new devolution principles and structures in order to ensure the election of an accountable responsive and competent Kiambu county government.
Duration: 5 Months
Location: Kiambu County
Deadline: 24th September 2012
Type: Part Time
Roles and Responsibilities:
providing continuous civic education in the county of Kiambu Assist in the dissemination of the civic education materials.
Will be the chief sources of civic information during the public forums, training of the various target groups and the football matches.
Skills and Qualifications:
Post Secondary education.
Previous experience in Civic Education
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills:
the ability to successfully and effectively liaise with a variety of people in a multi-cultural and multi-site environment.
Ability to write reports on various forums held.
