TRAINEE DATA CLERKS JOBS IN KENYA

Opportunity for Work Attachment 
 ICAP of Columbia University is working in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation and the Ministry of Medical Services to strengthen HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment services at provincial and district health facilities. This program is part of a US Government initiative against HIV in Kenya that receives funding from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As part of its mandate to build capacity of Health Records Information Officers within Kenya, ICAP is accepting applications from newly qualified diploma holders in Health Records Information or Information Technology who wish to spend a three month work attachment at ICAP. The purpose of this attachment is to offer practical experience in this field of Health Records Information and enhance skills in Data Management. A recommendation letter will be provided to trainees who successfully finish the attachment period. We are therefore inviting applications for the following position:

 Attachment: Trainee Data Clerks 
Location: Various ICAP-supported GOK health facilities in Nyanza
Training: ICAP will provide:

Orientation to HRIO functions
 Orientation in electronic medical records Practical experience in data entry Mentorship in Health Records Information from ICAP Monitoring and Evaluation Officers and Data Officers

Qualifications: 
Applicants requesting work attachment must have:
Diploma in Information Technology or Health Records Information
Computer skills including familiarity with MS Excel & MS Access
