Raw Materials Store supervisor
Company Profile:
Our client is a Manufacturer synthetic resin.
Main Purpose of the Job
•To plan, execute, manage & control all activities associated with the effective receiving, handling, storage & internal movement of all raw material from point of arrival through to final assembly of orders ready for dispatch in correct quantity, time & condition so as to ensure that the depot operates at maximum efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
•To maintain accurate and timely stock records
•To maintain attendance cards for staff in the dispatch area on a monthly basis
•To organize dispatch schedules and act on them in a timely and resourceful manner.
•To prevent all kinds of possible pilferages within the dispatch godown and on the delivery routes.
•To provide the production department with daily reports on the stock levels to allow for planning and avoid stock-outs.
•To co-operate with all employees of the company in every manner required to safe guard and promote the interests of the company.
•To recommend methods that can lead to improved efficiency in the management of the finished goods warehouse.
•Maintaining stock ledgers of raw materials & packaging materials.
•Maintaining minimum stock level as per planning of production.
•Prepare “Daily Stock report”
•Following First in First out (FIFO) method of issuing in case of material that have self-life constraints to avoid expires and change of properties
•Monitoring Stock as per the store norms.
•Procurement planning - Indenting to purchase department as per the production requirements.
•Special experience in Raw materials maintaining & Batch wise dispensing
•Maintaining good Hygienic & safety norms.
Required Qualifications
•Chemist Background
•Diploma in Stores Management or Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies.
•Over 2 years of experience
