MSF Switzerland (MSFCH) is a humanitarian medical organization providing emergency medical aid to populations in need. Currently, MSF-CH has vacant post and wishes to recruit the above position based in Dagahaley refugee camp.
Main Tasks:
Participate in the planning and design of construction projects.
Organise and oversee the day-to-day operation of the construction site in terms of material resources (materials and equipment), human and financial resources, compliance with schedules and budgets.
Supervise the progress and quality of work; oversee the supply, quality and allocation of building materials under the supervision of the line manager and/or technical adviser.
Draft project reports and follow up progress, materials and expenditure.
Requirements:
Diploma/degree in construction or civil engineering
Experience in supervising construction projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
Experience with MSF or a similar organisation would be an advantage
Fluency in Somali an asset
Willingness to live in Dagahaley
