Working as an advertising sales executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue through developing new business as well as servicing existing clients. 

This will involve cold calling as well as account management. 

You must be familiar and confident with Microsoft Office, high level of written and spoken English, interested in new media, lifestyle and trends and advertisement sales techniques.


The Advertising sales executive must:

• Hold a university degree
• Be experienced at selling advertising space to commercial clients (B2B Sales).
• Have significant experience in social media, blogging and writing articles
• Be determined and highly driven.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills.
• 3 years minimum experience in B2B sales selling advertising, digital/online solutions or similar products.
• Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success.
• Be target driven with a competitive edge.
• Be tenacious, adaptable, able to work effectively under pressure.
• Have the ability to review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
• Be able to challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
• Be experienced at negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing a sale
• Actively listen to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
• Use a positive, confident and determined approach
• Have commercial awareness and strong communication skills
