Bamburi Cement - Mombasa plant is to recruit a
Mechanical Planner
Reporting to the Methods Engineer, the role will apply mechanical skills to develop accurate job plans and provide maintenance solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
Plan and co-ordinate all plant maintenance shutdowns as well as daily maintenances works for the plant.
Prepare detailed scopes and bill quantities for maintenance and contractual works.
Validate and prioritize maintenance work requests to ensure continued plant operations
Ensure availability of job plans within specified sections.
Suitable candidates will have:
Higher Diploma in – Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering 2 years experience in planning/scheduling of repair and maintenance of heavy industrial / petro-chemical / chemical plants Microsoft office proficiency and Auto Cad
An ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
Good supervisory skills
Project Management is an added advantage
Ability to deliver on targets with minimum supervision
